Haywire Farms is ideally located
near historic Galena, Illinois. In the Galena Territory, the Eagle
Ridge Inn & Resort offers supreme lodging and three 18 hole golf
courses. The Ullysses S. Grant home, built in the 1860's, was presented
to Grant on his return from the Civil War in 1865.
Furnished with period pieces, it is a state historical site that is
available daily for touring.

Haywire Farms is located in northwest Illinois approximately 150 miles
west of Chicago. From the Chicagoland area, take I-90 West to US 20
West. The Farms are 23 miles east of Dubuque, Iowa at the Mississippi
River.
